What is epcr?
An ePCR is the electronic patient care report an EMS agency completes for every encounter; it remains the legal record of care.
ePCR platforms are where EMS clinicians document assessment, treatment and transport, and where NEMSIS submissions originate. Common vendors include ImageTrend, ESO and ZOLL.
Coordination software should not attempt to replace the ePCR or force double documentation. DispatchCare records mission status and the specific outcome fields a sponsor requires, and nothing more.
