What is nemsis?
NEMSIS is the national EMS data standard used for state and federal EMS reporting; version 3.5 is the current schema in wide use.
NEMSIS defines the structure of EMS encounter data submitted from ePCRs to state repositories and on to the national dataset. Community paramedicine encounters are represented within it, though program-level outcome measures usually are not.
Any ePCR that produces a NEMSIS 3.5 export can feed a coordination and reporting layer without a bespoke integration.
